Instant comfort
Purchased my usual dansko size 41 and fit is great. I have terrible arthritis in my right foot and it is always swollen so the right shoe is a little more snug than the left but the left heel does not come out when i walk.The footbed has decent arch support and wonderful heel support. I’ve gained a lotOf weight recently and it’s hard to find any shoe that supports standing for hours but i believe this will work for when I’m on the worship team and standing for 45+ minutes!The leather is soft and i think these will be cute with jeans, slacks or a skirt.No break in needed. I just wore them (first time) for the past six hours and I’m not dying to take them off as soon as i get in the door.If I had the funds, I would snatch up another color too.

Good quality
This is the third color I have purchased in this shoe style. The first pair fit like a glove and was such a pleasure to wear. The second pair was equally comfortable. This pair However, is not as comfortable. Unfortunately, because the first two pair fits so perfectly, I did not break these in before taking them to an event out of town. I wore them for a couple of hours and by the end of that time my feet were in a lot of pain. So I would simply caution someone to make sure they try these out around the house before committing to keeping them.Also, be aware that if you wear them without socks or stockings, they can make a ‘rude noise’ with every step 🙂 All 3 pair do this So I have to make sure to wear pantyhose or thin socks with them which is pretty annoying.

Buy 2 sizes smaller
This shoe is a good quality flat, I love it’s simple chic design and comfort. However, I wear a size 8.5 and when the reviews said to get a size smaller, I ordered the 7.5-8. Unfortunately when they arrived they were basically a perfect fit. But I wondered if they would stretch to be too loose. I wanted to try the next size smaller but at the cost I told myself it would be ok. I regret not returning them for 2 sizes smaller. All this to say…pick the size 2 times smaller than you normally wear. So..i wear an 8.5 and should have ordered the 6.5-7. They REALLY stretch. Because they are good quality leather. I will be buying insoles. They are wonderful otherwise

Nice, minimalist and comfy
Confortable tight out of the box; like sneakers! These run big: I usually take a 6.5-7 and these, like most Dansko styles are a full size larger so a 36 was perfect. I have Larissa flats in two other colors and they do stretch a bit.

I wished they had worked.
I love Dansko. I have at 20 different pairs from sandal to clogs. I was excited to find these as they are perfect for work slacks or jeans. I normally wear a 37 in Dansko. I read the reviews and bought small siz 5-6 as they reported to stretch. The sole and arch support were spot on but they were so tight across the top of foot, it bruised. I wore them 1 day thinking they would stretch as reported. Again no problem with the arch support and super comfortable except across the top. No stretch after wearing them at all. I was considering cutting the elastic in them to make them more comfortable but at this price, no! I gave them to my mother, they fit her size 7 foot perfect. I should mention I have chronic swelling in 1 foot that makes it bigger than the other. Both feet were bruised after wearing them.

Wonderful shoes, run quite large so size down
After reading numerous reviews, I decided to order down a size or two (Typically I wear 9.5 Medium to slightly narrower than M). I ordered 39 and 40 in these shoes (again, I typically wear a 41 in Naot, for comparison). The 39 fits me perfectly and I walked out of the 40s. So, they’re large. They may also be slightly narrow, as are my bony feet. They’re moderately well padded and have moderate arch support. Yay! No rubbing anywhere immediately! There is a very slight heel so they’re not totally flat (I don’t wear flat flat) so they’re comfortable to walk in as well. I am buying 3 colors of this simple, slightly elegant shoe and will wear them lots! Seem to be good quality leather too. Yay again!!
