Take thin sections and clip up each curl.
Been a hairdresser for 30 years and retired since 2013, This 1’ in. Iron ELLA BELLA is fantastic at giving smooth curls/ waves on heavily processed hair. Take less than 1’ in. Sections curling half way towards the roots, then tapping the release towards the ends, the temperature I used was 360’-380’. Heat level is on point. Bleached highlights are some and loose curls, The value of this iron is worth every penny. Clip every section as to let cool and stay out of the way, makes curling easier to do with uniform curls/ waves. Take thin sections smaller than the iron’s width, you will get better results! Start on low heat working your way up. I’ve used 400’ on other irons, no breakage or damage, put a heat protector on before using. O.P.P.by: doux (DPX) I use works fantastic and is a clean product. Durability is great quality, easy to use. Auto- shutdown if you forget. Button is out of the way when using, used the 1’ in . Iron gives curls/ waves to bra strap hair. Medium/ fine textured highlights/ color every 6 weeks. No damage or breakage of hair. Use Bedhead keep it casual flexible hold #2, hairspray while curling and afterwards. If wanting a firm option hairspray use: Biosilk silk therapy ( finishing Spray). When going out I use biosilk blocks humidity, holds your style until washed. 💯👍🥰

Best Curling Iron I’ve purchased in a long time
I love this curling iron – my favorite I’ve ordered by far for so many reasons; 1. It glides easily over the hair 2. It actually stands up when you sit it down on the counter – not top heavy 3. There is a hook near the base to hang it up on the wall instead of having to wrap the cord around hook to hang it on the wall 4. It heats up quickly and has a lock to keep the temperature the same. 5. The knob on the end of the curling iron is perfect to hold on to curl the hair. GREAT product- Overall, highly recommend!

amazing curling iron!
i absolutely love this curling iron. it is very pretty and it’s so easy to use. it has wonderful quality and makes the best curls! my curls stay overnight and would stay for many days if i let it. i know this iron will last me a decade so it is definitely worth the money! they also have great customer service and Ruth is always so kind if i ever have any questions. and plus, there’s a free 2 year warranty!! high recommended. 😌

I was so pleased at the size of this curling iron. It’s lightweight and easy to use. It also is a 1 inch curling iron leaving tighter curls. I have never enjoyed curling my hair.. until now. I give this product an overall 10/10!

Great value
This is such a great curling iron! Even the packaging is super cute and would be a lovely gift without needing to be wrapped or put in a gift bag. The curling iron itself is smaller than a standard sized curling iron but isn’t especially compact. This is not great if you’re planning to use it for travel with limited packing space but it is nice that it’s more like a “normal” curling iron in functionality. The 1” barrel is the perfect size for giving my hair brushable natural looking curls but of course your mileage may vary. It’s very easy to use. At a current price of $50, I think this is a good value for a midrange curling iron, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality curling iron but not interested in spending high end money.

Great dual voltage travel curling iron!
I bought this curling iron because of its dual voltage to take traveling. This curling iron is approx. 13-3/4 in. from top of cool tip to end of handle, with about 5 in. of usable heating area. It is listed as compact size, but it is similar to the size of my regular non-compact curling iron.This curling iron recently did travel with me to Tokyo and Seoul for 2 weeks, and the dual voltage worked fine in both countries (it does need an adapter with round prongs for Korea). It curled my fine, straight 2 in. below shoulder length hair well. With the 50% humidity, I did have to use hair spray but the loose curls stayed pretty much all day. The curling iron heated up to the set temperature in about a minute, the heat temperature stayed even, and the lock button at the desired setting was nice. The cool tip stayed cool, and made it easier to hold and help balance the curling iron while curling my hair. The barrel clamp also had good secure tension. There is a little built-in stand but I would still use a heat resistant mat or towel underneath. It also comes with a heat-resistant glove. There was also a product registration for a 2 year warranty and a nice follow-up from the company to see if there was any product support needed. Overall, I would recommend this dual voltage curling iron for travel!
