Great brand new upgrades you will love it
I ordered this because my other one broke after so many years And use, I had no idea they upgraded it . I was a bit confused on the new push button And longer barrel I was going back and forth on returning it . I realized its just A better upgrade I’m now learning to love the longer barrel because it helps to reach your hair that you might have missed . The curls stayed in better and climbed without Any hair spray it your curling quality us 100% better with this one the Thickness is the same . it heats up quickly And goes to the same 450. the weight is a bit more because of the longer barrel And this one was priced better I say its a winner for sure

Nice curling iron
I love this curling iron. I used it while on vacation and liked its durability. I purchased it in the 3/4 barrel size and I have thinner hair which struggles to hold a curl and I loved how it managed and held my hair. The heat varies for this barrel so you can choose how high or low you want the heat. I saw reviews on the clamp length but I didn’t have an issue with it. I loved the plastic end on the end of the barrel so I can hold and roll for a better curl. I noticed that using this iron it’s more user friendly so I was able to curl my hair quickly with the same amount of parting as I usually do. I also have shoulder length hair and the only thing I would be worried for are my long hair girlies running out of barrel to curl. I’m excited to continue to use this I think it’s worth the money for its functionality.

Great Curling Iron
It heats up fast and turns off automatically. When I say it gets HOT, it gets super hot. I have really thick coarse hair and this tool keeps the curl set. I am not interested in how the tool looks in the cabinet or on the shelf as long as it does the job. I do appreciate that my hair does not get caught in the screws or clamps when curling. Great tool. Would recommend and would buy again. I got the 1 and 1/4 inch and it makes big beach curls

Favorite curing iron for long hair
Been using Hot Tools for over 20 years and it is the only brand that seems to last for years (like 10+). It heats up fast and heats consistently. Curls stay set for hours too. When looking for a quality iron that won’t break the bank, Hot Tools should be on your list.

Inconsistent Heat & Catches Hair, OUCH
I owned a cheapo 25-30$ iron and a cheapo Conair curling wand prior to this. I only bought this to replace my last iron because I electrically fried it when I took it internationally (oops)…My complaints after 3 days:This curling iron doesn’t hold heat well at all; almost as if the heat is only maintained superficially, so once it comes in contact with hair, it’s like the heat is lost. The effect is that the curling iron doesn’t maintain a steady temperature, and it doesn’t stay warm enough consistently for heat to penetrate the entire hair. With my previous curling iron, I only needed to use a 320 degree setting to maintain a good curl, but now I am having to keep this thing past 380-400 degrees to barely get a wave, and none of the curls are holding. My hair is straight after half the day…It also doesn’t glide smoothly along the hair. Despite it being a similar design to my last iron, it catches and pulls on my hair WITH NO PRODUCT. It is painful and kind of traumatizing to use because I never know when I am going to get pulled by the iron, and I have a sensitive scalp. Never an issue with my last iron. Also, because it keeps catching my hair even when I am guiding it, it doesn’t allow the hair to flatten along the iron properly. I can’t do movements or techniques that were so natural with my last iron.Overall, I’m really disappointed with this product and regret buying it. I wasn’t able to test if it works internationally. The only redeeming quality I can come up with is that I haven’t burned myself – which isn’t much of a celebration because it wasn’t a problem to begin with. The only reason I am not returning this for a refund is because I don’t feel comfortable returning personal care items.My complains after several weeks:I am still disappointed in this purchase. I can see that the ends of my hair are getting damaged and feeling dry, even though my curls are not holding. This was never an issue with my cheap curler. I am going to put this one in my suitcase for international travel or emergencies, and get a different one. I do not recommend this for medium to fine hair.

BEST curling iron EVER!!!!I’m older and I have used so many curling irons in my life and this is the FIRST one that has ever done what this one does! The gold must be the key!I have natural frizzy hair after washing and even letting my hair dry naturally wasn’t enough to not still have frizzy ish hair after curling it with ALL other curling irons and even ceramic!This curling iron not only makes my hair smooth on wash day, I can blow dry it first now and it’s still smooth without any products! It’s a flipping miracle! 🙌🏼I also love the swivel and I love the purple light instead of the red most use. Nice unique touch!Best curling iron ever and I worked in the salon industry most of my life.Incredible!!!!!!! Get one! 🙂

Love this curling iron. The only brand I will ever buy! The gold plating helps protect my hair (I curl my hair every day), and the dual voltage means I do not need to carry heavy converters when I travel! The cord is also nice and long, and the swivel on it keeps it from tangling.
