Sheer blushes but brilliantly beautiful
I’m a long time Korean cushion foundation user. I don’t think I still own a foundation that’s NOT a Korean cushion type. So a cushion blush is simply GENIUS. But there’s definitely a reason I love the sheerness of this shade of blush (Odd Mauve). Not to brag but I’m in my late 60s and people mistake me for someone in their 40s all the time. I’m also a Korean skin care addict and the proof is in the pudding that’s for sure. I’ve used Korean skin care exclusively for 3 decades now. And I’ve had zero plastic surgery or any kind of laser treatment, etc. I’ve just used whatever the latest Korean skincare innovation has been for 30 years. I’m pretty sure it started with SK-II but equally excellent Korean products have become so much more affordable now. But whatever Korean film stars have been doing, I’ve been doing too. Have you ever watched a Korean film? The women have INCREDIBLE SKIN and their makeup is just as amazing. Enter Jung Saem Mool, who is one of Korea’s top muas. She has worked in the Korean film industry for decades and is known for her specific style of makeup. It’s a very natural look but it enhances the best features just enough but still gives balance to the face. Her main thing is skin. While I’ve tried dozens of cushion foundations over the years, and I do like her Nuder cushion, it’s not my favorite (Amore Pacific is my #1 jam). But it is a good one if you want to find one on Amazon at an affordable price.I only want foundation to even my skin tone since my face is naturally darker than my neck. I don’t want foundation anywhere on my neck, it ruins my clothes. So I have to find an exact shade match of course. (This is often quite hard when buying online) I don’t want a very obvious blush look most days either. I want that “lit from within” look that Korean actors have. They are my makeup muses. (The Violette_fr blurring lipstick is the perfect lip look if you prefer a bullet lipstick.) I want a blush finish somewhere between dewy and matte. Not shiny because that’s a dead giveaway. And I don’t want obvious color either. My skin is cool so I stay in the cool toned blush lane. The Odd Mauve shade is ideal for my complexion and compliments most of my outfits. Here’s the kicker: this cushion blush is buildable. Let it dry down and then do another layer if it’s too sheer. You can do many layers if necessary. It can also tame an overly pigmented blush shade (Rare Beauty or Moira Cosmetics liquid blushes for example). Just tap the cushion blush over the pigmented blush and BAM! Problem solved.If you want to enhance your good skin, Korean cushion foundation is a must have. Yes some are far better than others. Some sold on Amazon are not really sold IN Korea at all but created solely for the American market. Watch out for these, they are a cash grab and awful. But Jung Saem Mool is the real deal. She has the creds to prove it. Her cushion blushes are fantastic but there’s a learning curve. Once you get the hang of using them you’ll love them.Odd Mauve and the Lavender shade are perfect for cool skin as is the Berry shade (berry is too dark for me). If you want beautifully sheer Korean eyeshadows check out the palettes by Rom&nd. They have a lot to choose from (more on YesStyle).I’d better end this review now. Hopefully it’s been helpful to someone.

Soft and Natural Glow
I’ve been using the Jung Saem Mool cushion blush lately, and I really like it. It goes on smoothly and blends easily without feeling heavy. The color looks soft and natural, and it gives my skin a healthy glow. Since it’s a cushion type, it feels light and slightly dewy, not dry at all. It’s easy to control the amount, so it always looks natural even when I add a bit more.

Product itself was amazing! But the cushion case itself came a little wonky and wont shut properly. But overall doesn’t affect daily usage since i dont bring this around all the time.

Edited:It doesnt last in your face unfortunately. It is totally faded within two hours. It doesnt matter if you use primer and setting spray.I’ve tried numerous branded creamy blushes, but this one surpasses them all. The natural dewy finish it provides is phenomenal! My complexion appears radiant and incredibly natural. I’m thoroughly impressed.

Simple and Natural Look
I tried this blush for the first time, and it applies so smoothly while giving a very natural look. It feels dewy at first but becomes nicely set on the skin later on. The lasting power is impressive, and I’ve really come to love JungSaemMool products.

Lavender color disappears on the skin – no good :/
I got the lavender color and the color does not show up on the skin at all. For reference, I am a shade 17 n in Korean cushions. I really had high hopes for this item and I’m honestly very disappointed. I am gonna try a different color to see if it works better but I don’t have too much hope but I’m hoping for the best.
