Comfortable, durable and fits well.
The Onwander is a very handy visor suitable for most outdoor activities. The fit and materials are especially nice. After a few minutes the visor is so comfortable you’re hardly aware that it’s on. So, it’s lightweight and form fitting. Fit is good on my male head and the visor portion itself provides good covering for my forehead. The only issue I have with this item is that it does not provide the best “shade” under the sunniest conditions. In other words, its not that useful in the brightest sunlight because the visor portion is a plastic material. So i can recommend it for all but direct sunlight. For some, that will be a deal breaker but it’s a good, modestly priced visor.

Surprisingly Stylish Garden Visor With One Quirk
I didn’t expect to love this as much as I do, but this transparent sun visor has actually made gardening and quick outdoor chores so much more bearable. The tinted see-through brim looks modern and keeps my face shaded without making me feel boxed in—plus, it works well for fishing or sitting out by the lake too. The adjustable cord at the back is simple but does its job well, and once I set it, it stays put. The polyester band feels sturdy and comfortable even on hot days.One thing to know: while the product listing says the visor is shapeable, I found that it just pops back into place no matter how gently I try to bend it. Not a deal-breaker at all, but if you’re hoping to mold it like a traditional ball cap, that’s not really going to happen with this material. Still, for a visor that’s sleek, lightweight, and surprisingly flattering, I’d buy it again.

Visor is black transparent plastic
First, when I ordered this, I didn’t realize the visor was black-colored transparent plastic.The plastic visor usually has my fingerprints all over it. It also hits the top of my glasses – this does not seem to harm the glasses, but it’s a bit annoying.It’s lightweight and easy to adjust, you just squeeze top and bottom of the plastic piece and the string part slides back and forth. It’s easy to do while you are wearing it. You can pull your hair though the cord with or without a rubber band. It filters the sun, not because I look through the visor, I don’t, but because it creates shade on your face just like a cloth visor would.The cloth part of the visor is soft, and the lining is the kind of fabric that seems to circulate, it’s loose-woven. It is a little padded. The outside rim, above the visor but off to the side has the brand name on it. It’s small so it’s not that noticeable.I wouldn’t buy another one because if I wear it so it rests on my ears like I normally would, I need to raise the visor to avoid my glasses, if I wear it on top of the top of my ears (rim partly covers the ears), it rides up as I walk.

Does a good job reducing the sun from your eyes
It might not be immediately apparent in the stock pictures but the visor portion is in fact transparent a bit. Love how this looks on my head and it’s been great for the summer over here. The plastic visor is attached very stiffly to the headband portion. There is a cord on the back that you can adjust to change the fitment on your head, very nice to fit all sorts of sizes.The listing mentions that the visor shape is adjustable but that just wasn’t the case for me. It just goes back to the shape it was in. Otherwise, it’s a solid recommend for anyone who does a lot of outdoor activities like going running, picnics, sports, etc. Would recommend.

I don’t typically wear hats like this, so don’t have anything to compare this one to. I wanted to try a visor for when I’m working in the garden – and this seemed like a good one to try. I’m glad I ordered this!The visor hat is made well. The visor itself is made of a tinted translucent soft plastic. I like that! The visor is attached to the hat part very well. The fabric part of the hat is made of a very durable polyester. The fabric looks and feels nice.The hat has an adjustable cord on the back that you can use to adjust the hat to fit your head. This is very easy to use, and once you make the adjustment, the cord stays in place – doesn’t stretch out or slip.The overall look of this visor is very nice – it’s something I would wear while out and about, as well as when I’m in the garden.The product listing states the plastic visor part is “shapeable”. I’ve tried gently shaping this piece, but it doesn’t hold the new shape – just springs back to the original shape. This isn’t a huge deal for me, but I know some people really like to shape the visors on their ball caps, and this one just doesn’t shape like that.Overall, I’m happy with this visor. Great for Florida summers
I actually didn’t realize that the visor part of this hat was see-through, so I was surprised when I received it.That being said, it is pretty comfortable. It does feel a bit stiff in the front where the visor attaches to the band, but I don’t think it will be annoying with longer-term wear. Unfortunately, today is a rainy day, so I can’t test it out for a few hours to confirm this, but as soon as the weather is nice again, I will test it and update the review.The back has a closure that allows for size adjustment, and this works well.The inside fabric is soft and comfortable.The visor size works well to shield the eyes from the sun.I have yearly passes to the theme parks, and I always wear a visor when I go to protect my face from the sun. I like the look of this visor, and I am intrigued to see how it holds up for my eyes with the sun shining down and the visor being see-through.
