Lightweight. Can fold in half
I enjoy that the brim is made to fold in half to help with storage but has form while being used to shade from sun. It does mean you can’t roll it up smaller, though. Lightweight, breathable and comfortable. Handy holes on top to poke your sunglasses through. Drawstring chin strap held hat on while inner tubing.

Excellent Sun Protection Hat – Buying My Second One
This is actually my second time purchasing this hat after I left my first one at a conference.I’ve started taking skin protection more seriously, and this hat delivers exactly what I need. The front brim provides good coverage for my face – something baseball caps simply can’t match. The back neck flap offers superior protection compared to typical round-brimmed hats.Stays Put in WindWhat really sets this hat apart are the thoughtful design details for securing it. I hate hats that fly off in a light breeze, turning hikes into frustrating battles to keep your hat on. This one features an adjustable clip on the back for a comfortable, secure fit, plus a well-made chin strap that is stitched and appears well made.The strategically placed ventilation panels along the top of the scalp and around the front of the forehead make this hat surprisingly cool and comfortable in hot weather – more so than other high-coverage hats I’ve tried.Good comprehensive sun protection and comfort. Highly recommended.

Great sun protection
I spend a ton of time outside and wanted first rate sun protection and this hat delivers. It’s definitely function over fashion, and I won’t win any beauty prizes, but my neck is covered and the broad brim keeps my ears and face completely shaded. The hat stays put under windy conditions and the sunglasses sleeves did work for me, though I see other reviewers have had some issues. I’ve tossed the hat in the washer twice so far, and it holds its shape. It also dries quickly and is super lightweight and packable. Great choice for birding and gardening, as the broad brim doesn’t impede visibility. Highly recommended if excellent sun protection is your priority.

Great hat with neat features but not as much shade as larger version
I was recently diagnosed with Lupus so have been buying UPF 50 sun protective hats in various styles to wear for all occasions. I purchased this hat and its larger cousin, the Sunday Afternoon Adventure hat, and have been trying out both in bright sunlight. I think the strength of the Ultra Adventure hat is that it is foldable, has UFP 50 rated vents, has a built in sunglass holder and has a smaller brim than the Adventure Hat. That gives you a little more field of vision. The fabric is also a little lighter weight than the Adventure Hat and is a little less noisy when the flap moves around. However, the things I don’t like about the hat are that it lets more sun shine on your face. Since I have Lupus I need to have as much sun coverage as possible. I also think the hat is hotter to wear than the larger Adventure Hat–likely because the vents are lined to have UPF 50 coverage. And I don’t know if its just me but the Ultra Adventure hat is larger on me (circumference) than the regular Adventure Hat even though they are both size medium. So it doesn’t fit as well and its still too large on the tightest adjustment. I like the hat but prefer the regular Adventure Hat because it has more shade,feels cooler to wear, and fits better. I think overall they are both very good hats but you may prefer one over the other depending on your needs.

Fit all size of head
A delightful hat. Lightweight, dries quickly, easily and accurately adjusts to different head sizes and is more than enough for even a very large head like mine. The visor holds its shape perfectly and does not change color after repeated crumpling of the hat. The back flap is soft, does not rub the neck when worn for a long time. Very light, almost weightless, but the head does not sweat in it, despite the dark blue color.

Practically perfect in every way
Light weight and foldable. I really like the ventilation holes feels cooler on the hot days. I have very short hair and appreciate the sun protection for my neck. Nice wide brim but still can see easily.

Excellent hat for many activities
This hat is COMFORTABLE, LIGHTWEIGHT AND OFFERS A-LOT OF COVERAGEI own many hats and continually look for one that meets the needs I have for comfort, coverage, and ability to stay on my head in wind AND ATTRACTIVENESS. This hat checks all the boxes! I wore this hat today for 10 + hours. I could drive in the car without the annoying push back from the headrest. It gave me sun protection from the annoying sun at the side of the window. When I got out of the car to fill the tank and a huge wind gust blew it stayed securely on my head. There is an easy accessible clip on the back of hat that easily lets you adjust for higher wind and release so you can have comfort when not needed. I can walk for several hours wearing it and can hardly feel it on my head. Many other hats that offer these things look awful on my head . This hat looks great! I’m looking forward to using it as my primary boat hat this summer.Highly recommend

Hat is nice for keeping sun off while walking/playing golf. Very comfortable and I look good in it too!

This hat lays flat for packing, is foldable, keeps sun off your neck and ears, doesn’t hit your backpack on your back, and doesn’t blow off in high winds (drawstring cord). I got the green “eucalyptus” colour which was good for camping as didn’t show the dirt so much. Easy to handwash and dries quicky. Adjustable at rear. Looks a lot better than your average Legionnaire-style hat. sizing was true to measurements provided.Highly recommend!

Der Ultra-Adventure Sonnenhut ist nicht einfach nur ein Hut. Er ist eine tragbare Klimaanlage, ein Schattenspender mit Diplom und ein modisches Statement, das sagt: „Ich wandere, aber mit Würde.“Mit UV-Schutz UPF 50+, extra Nackenschutz und cleverer Belüftung ist dieser Hut wie eine Sonnencreme, nur ohne das Schmierige. Und er wiegt gefühlt weniger als mein schlechtes Gewissen wenn ich doch mal den Bus genommen habe.Er ist leicht verstaubar, im Rucksack oder sogar in der Jackentasche. Und ja, der Kinnriemen hält sogar bei Wind – selbst wenn der Wind entscheidet, in deiner Region mal wieder persönlich zu erscheinen.Fazit: Ob du durch den Wald wanderst, Vulkane besteigst oder einfach nur sehr stylish im Garten Unkraut bekämpfst – dieser Hut ist dein loyaler, schweigsamer Begleiter. Und ganz ehrlich: Er – vor allem mit Dir – sieht cooler aus als du denkst.
