Understated elegance – this Kate Spade lunch tote is stylish, functional, and keeps food cold!
This Kate Spade New York lunch tote is everything I’ve come expect from the brand. The bag is classy yet understated with a small Kate Spade logo on the side and zipper pull, the finish is top quality, the zipper glides smoothly, and it has a thermal silver lining with a mesh storage pocket perfect for holding a napkin, cutlery, or other small items. Furthermore, the sides snap open or closed to expand the top of the bag if needed and polyester exterior wipes clean with a wet cloth.I have packed a variety of items in this tote, but my go-to for lunch is a 14 oz water bottle, with an insulated food jar for pasta or soup, along with two 7 oz stackable containers filled with fruit and a small side salad. I put a cold pack on one end of the bag next to the water bottle and two stackable containers, then put the insulated food jar opposite everything else. Five hours after packing my lunch, the fruit and salad are still cold and my hot food in the insulated jar is still warm.If you (or someone you know) loves Kate Spade, I highly recommend this item. I’ve received several compliments on it at work and it makes taking your lunch as an adult all that more fun and stylish. It would also make a great gift!

Stylishly attractive lunch bag
I am not exactly sure why I am so drawn to this lunch bag. It might be the cute design of having the top come together at an angle rather than something round and bulky. It might also be the effective use of black on the dots, the handle, the zipper tape, and the interior mesh bag, which matches well with the light tan colored exterior fabric material. Or it might be the size, which is small, but where it sacrifices spaces, it makes up for it in its petite attractiveness. When in use, the interior space is enough for a small lunch box and a few more small items. The interior is insulated and easy to clean any leaks. The bag is lightweight and all of the materials from the exterior and interior to the size and shape of the zipper pull and the snap closures for the side of the bag and the end of the zipper tape felt durable and well thought out. While this is not the cheapest lunch bag, you are paying for the thoughtful and attractive design, material quality, and the brand, which makes this a great purchase.

Super cute and roomier than I expected
Kate Spade lunch bagThis Kate Spade lunch bag is such a cute design, simple elegance. The outer material looks like a loose weave light beige burlap, but it feels like a soft plastic, it wipes clean nicely. The inside is silver thermal insulated, which also cleans up nicely. The seams are all covered in bias tape, stitching is strong and sturdy. Zipper also feels strong and sturdy and glides pretty smooth, it just catches when it goes around the corner so I unsnap it to zip it straight across. The bag is deceptively bigger than I expected. It holds more than enough for my lunch.Yesterday about 2:30 I packed it with two slices of pizza in a baggie, a cold canned drink, and one thick gel ice pack. At about 7 PM I opened it to grab slice of pizza and my drink. My drink was still quite cold and the pizza felt chilled, but not especially cold. The second slice was closer to the ice pack and that one was cold. The ice pack was still completely frozen at this time. By the time I left work at 10:30 the ice pack was about half thawed out. I would say the insulation functions well considering the bag had been sitting out in room temperature during that time
