Great color pallette for every occasion
This is my first time trying any Laura Geller makeup, and I’m impressed!I chose the Earthy Essentials color palette, and I love every color in it.It’s a really nice mix of matte and shiny eye shadows, and I like to wear and combine both.I love the actual kit as well because there is a good amount of each color, and the kit has a mirror and also a magnetic closure.The eyeshadow goes on smoothly and dark, and it’s a nice powder, nicer than a lot of others that I have from different companies. It’s soft and comfortable to apply. It stays in place all day and doesn’t come off until I remove it at night, so it has longevity.I like this kit enough that I’m going to go try some of the other products from this company. This was a great find for Black Friday because I got it at 50% off. This kit is a great value for the money, and I’m happy that I found it.

Top notch for quality, variety and blendability
Having always wanted to try this brand, the Black Friday deals did it for me finally! The palette array of colors is so flattering and versatile (especially for older skin) and easy to blend. It’s very soft on the skin and non-irritating. Even if I had paid full price, it would have certainly been worth it for this quality and variety. Usually I only use a color or two in palettes like this, but I’m sure I will use most of them quite regularly. I look forward to trying many more of LG products. 🙂

Shadows easily break
Great colors. But first shipment 3 of the shadows were broken inside. I returned and they sent me another, where 1 shadow was broken. I did keep it. But be aware. The shadows shatter!!

1ST PRODUCT CAME DAMAGED , CONTACTED AMAZON AND THEY MADE IT RIGHT.COLORS ARE BEAUTIFUL BUT THE PALLETTE ON INSIDE DOESNT RESEMBLE THE PICTURE AT ALL. THE PRODUCTS ON INSIDE ARE VERY SMALL , INSIDE AND DOWN IN A CIRCLE, BUT COLORS ARE BEAUTIFUL

Lovely, smooth neutrals
I haven’t used eyeshadow for years but thought I’d give these matte finish neutral shades a try since I love all my other Laura Geller products. They go on smoothly for layering & blending. Just like her baked foundations, these are weightless, like nothing is on my eyelids. Mirror & magnetic closure are very nice. One color (lower left corner) was broken into pieces on arrival, but it was a simple fix by mixing in a little rubbing alcohol, making a paste & letting it dry. I assume that happened in shipping, but I give 5 stars for product itself. These will be fun!

I feel like I won the lottery. Arrived in perfect condition with no color broken. Each color is so pretty it’s hard to choose which ones to use. They’re all very wearable. Smooth, soft consistency too. I think my favorite is Glamour, a near maroonish brown without the red I’ve seen in others. I’ll use Luxury with a wet liner brush. I’m glad I took the chance after seeing reviews of broken colors. Now I’ll be checking out other products from this brand.

One color arrived broken
I bought a Laura Geller highlighting set and it works really well, but this eye shadow palette isn’t impressive. For one thing, one of the colors arrived broken (which several other people noted had happened to them) and when I tried to replace it, the order got delayed, so I just decided to keep the one I had. It’s not bad, but it feels like I need to use a lot of product to get any effect, so I end up applying and applying and applying. Once it finally goes on, though, it looks nice, and it seemed to stay on, so there’s that. Also, I don’t love the cardboard packaging. It does feel cheap somehow. So, it’s good, but I got it on a Black Friday sale and I only paid about half what it normally cost. If I paid more, I would have returned it.

I used to apply Laura Geller daily. I purchased this collection due to the reasonable price and I wasn’t disappointed! Beautiful metallic shades, many nudes and suble pinks that are ideal for daytime wear.

I love Laura Geller products in general, and this is no exception. You get 14 different shades of matte brown in a carboard wallet, with a mirror, inside a cardboard box. The colours range from a soft ivory through to a deep, dark brown, and just about every shade in between; if it’s not there, you can mix it. Initially, I thought each eye shadow was quite small, as the diameter is around the size of a penny, but they’re domed, and as they’re so richly pigmented a little really does go a long way.The eye shadows are very easy to apply, blend perfectly, and are forgiving if you’re not so skilled at applying make up. You can create a subtle every day look, right through to the striking and dramatic smoky eye, and it stays in place. On me, I found that it didn’t cake or crease into my lines, which can be an issue with other brands. In addition, you can extend the usage by adding a touch of highlighter over the top to make it sparkle. I do think these are incredible value for money and would gladly buy again.
