Quite oily for a serum. Definitely not lightweight.
Vitamin C is a staple in my skincare regimen. I usually use vitamin C skin products in the mornings so I decided to order this.MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE PRODUCT1. The bottle contains 1 ounce of vitamin C serum, which I think is okay but I think that it’s quite small in relation to its value.2. I was very surprised when I first used this. I knew it was going to be viscous, but I didn’t expect it to be oily. It’s an oil-based serum.3. I usually use about two pump’s worth and I feel that that’s enough for my neck and face areas.4. I find it very easy to massage onto my face because it’s oil-based. It basically guides on my skin.5. There is definitely a distinct scent. It’s not fragrant. It’s very hard to describe. I don’t really find it offensive, but I don’t find it pleasant either. The smell goes away after a few minutes.6. This serum takes a while to absorb when compared to the other serums that I use regularly.7. It feel oily on my face and it feels sticky. The feelings last until the product completely absorbs.8. I feel that this serum takes longer than average when it comes to absorption because it’s very oily.9. I don’t think it’s a good idea to wear this under makeup because it takes a while for the product to fully absorb.10. This products works well with my dry sensitive skin. I think it’s good for those with dry skin. It may not be good for those who are sensitive to scents.11. I feel hydrated after I use this, which is pretty much expected because it’s oil-based.OVERALL IMPRESSION: While this serum makes me feel hydrated, I haven’t noticed a lot of changes when it comes to the evenness of my skin tone. I don’t feel that it’s cost-effective because it only comes with 1 ounce of product and it feels just like regular serums. I may have to give it more time to see if there are some other benefits.

A mix of pros and cons
I use skincare with Vitamin C regularly and was excited to try this product. It was my first time trying this brand.My impressions:- the 1fl oz bottle arrived without any type of additional packaging (no safety wrapping/sealing or special box); it arrived without damage but when it comes to skincare, I always appreciate a safety seal or a box- the ingredient list is specified on the bottle but there is no expiration date or manufacturing date listed- this product contains Squalane, which I really like- the product is dispensed via a pump and the pump works reliably well at retrieving the desired amount of product- the color of the product is clear and the texture is basically an oil (I would definitely describe this more as a facial oil as opposed to a serum); I do like facial oils so this is not a negative for me- there is no separately added fragrance on the ingredient list but I would say that the smell somewhat reminds me of sea buckthorn, something I use regularly- since the product has a rich oily texture, less is definitely more and it does make the skin look and feel more hydrated- my boyfriend, who has a very dry forehead, finds this product effective for long-term moisturizingOverall, I’d say this product is a mix of pluses and minuses. I wish the packaging felt more complete. I also wish an expiration date was listed. This product is a good option if you have very dry skin (or combination skin with dry patches). This is not a lightweight product. Finally, at $60, I would say it is overpriced considering everything above.

Silicone-free Vitamin C serum gives me the glow!
I’m thrilled to have found a high quality vitamin C serum that does NOT contain silicones. Serums with silicones like dimethicone tend to be viscose so they sit on top of skin and don’t fully absorb. This thin, liquid serum fully absorbs into my skin. It also contains superior ingredients, combining vitamin C with nourishing seed oils and natural extracts rather than cheap dimethicone that can trap bacteria in hair follicles. It gives my face a healthy glow without any irritation or breakouts. I apply it at night on my freshly washed face and wake up in the morning with radiant, glowy skin…in my 50’s!

Horrible smell
I’m not very fond of this serum. Let’s start with the lack of packaging, safety seal, and any kind of manufactured/expiration date. This serum came as-is which is a little disconcerting considering that it’s selling for $60 for a 1oz bottle which is the price of higher-end products. The serum itself is very runny and oily. It has a weird stale smell like old machining oil with maybe a slight hint of citrus? It leaves my skin sticky and oily and takes a long time to absorb. It just didn’t feel very good to have on my skin. I tried it for two nights and couldn’t continue for any longer.

Oily but ok on my relative dry skin
This product came with a dented box, not like the other products that can usually survive from the delivery process. Though it is oilier than the other serum, it works ok on my face since I usually use one pump each time, which is relative small amount of serum. I then slowly massage the serum on my face, followed by my daily skincare routine. I do not feel any itch or discomfort after applying the serum on my skin.
