Great shoes. Black fits. Brown doesnt.
Comfortable fresh out of the box. I have a medium width 8.5 feet, these fir beautifully and easily molded to my foot with just the right amount of give. They’re very easy to slip in and out of. I was also pleased at the height of the ankle. I wore them with a black sock and the edge of my pan hit the ankle bone just below where the shoe comes to meaning that the top of the shoe is hidden by the pants, so you can’t see that it’s not a full boot. The overall effect was beautiful, comfortable warm and secure. The site that I work at is large and I usually get at least a 2-3 miles of steps every day just around my work site; even with a desk job. A lot of times I’m in a hurry; but I need to also look professional, and so these fit the bill is a good balance between comfortable, casual, and professional.I received these two days ago and instead of waiting the usual period of time to break them in I got overly excited and wore them today! Feels sinful to risk scuffing the soles of shoes that might not be right. The reviews are great and the felt good so I took a chance.it has been suddenly cold and these look so warm and comfortable. They performed very well on a cool damp fall day. I was a little worried at first that they felt too snug on my foot at home the prior evening bit it was not a problem. Very quickly I could feel the shoe loosening up as my foot settled down into the memory foam foot bed, the arch support, and the shape of the shoe around the foot is excellent. I also like the thickness of the soul. It has a good blend of stability and flexibility. I am very delighted with these on top of this. They look really good too; like an expensive fall boot. Looks good with a boot cut jean or full length work trousers. I saw my supervisor look at my feet today and give me an envious look when she realized that my winter shoe is better looking than her brand new winter shoe. What can I say? We all enjoy a petty victory now and again delighted with my new purchase. On another note, watch the colors versus size fit differences. I also ordered the exact same size in brown and the black fit very true to size when I put it on I could feel a little bit of room in the toe and it felt clingy around the sides of the foot, but not overly so. The brown pair, however, felt extremely tight, not enough toe room, did not feel like it had space in the toe and felt narrow, even though it was the exact same size; 8.5.I like the black one so much that I sent for another pair in Brown and I’m going to return the brown ones I have and hope that there may be a difference when I get the second pair of brown ones.I’m going to try wearing them in the house cautiously and see if I noticed any difference. The black and brown pairs seem so different that I feel like they were probably made in different factories with different machine settings or something along those lines. I noticed that with the brown pair selected at the bottom of the ad, it said frequently returned due to fit and then I checked the same ad with the black ones selected and it did not say that; so I’m wondering if there’s specifically an issue with the chocolate brown size 8 1/2. These are so pretty; stable and comfortable though I’m going to try and see if I can make it work anyway if they fit they fit if not, I will send them back again, but the black ones are delightful. Super happy. I do with the other colors looked more natural. There ate also versions of this shoe in a slip on backless clog, and in a mid top bootie on the sketchers page. Big fan. Recommend.

SLIP ON ANKLE BOOT FITS LIKE A GLOVE
These SLIP ON ANKLE BOOTS fit like a glove. The minute I tried them on I could tell I was going to keep them. They are suppose to be water resistant. I haven’t tried walking in the rain yet; but, the material they are made of looks water resistant. I was concerned the high part in the front would be too tight or rub the top of my foot from what other reviews, but they weren’t and the sides don’t come up too high to rub my ankle. They are very comfortable. I ordered a 7 Wide. There is room enough for thicker socks and they have a cozy lining. I am very pleased with the ankle boot and would recommend these to my family and friends.UPDATE: I liked these shoes so much that I ordered another pair in the TAUPE color. They were delivered promptly and fit the same as the black that I ordered previously. The Taupe color is beautiful (medium shade of taupe)

Most comfortable shoes I own.
I love these boots! I was a little worried because I usually need shoes with Arch support and these don’t have that. But I loved the looks of them so much, I decided to try them anyway and I’m glad I did! I ordered the navy blue pair first and wore them for about a week to make sure I didn’t have any issues. Then I ordered a brown pair and a black pair. They are now my favorite pair of shoes!

The top of the shoe hits my ankle in a rubbing way
I wanted to give these shoes five stars because they are so easy to get on and off and that was a huge plus. The reason I had to take off a star is they go up too high on the top. I attached a picture and pointed to the place I’m talking about; they’re very tall and they hit my ankle, which is irritating to wear. I did go up half a size so I’m able to wear thick socks and still wear them which helps with the rubbing. I played around with adding different inserts and it does make a difference if I raise my heel a tiny bit then I don’t get the rubbing. I’m betting that the ankle part is going to loosen up a bit and maybe they won’t irritate my ankle. They are really close to being the perfect slip-on winter shoe. I ordered the wire because I do have wide feet and I do feel that they are good on my feet as far as with goes. I have an a high in step and so sometimes the top of my foot is irritated by shoes, but these seem to be OK unless I add high inserts. if you have wide feet, I recommend getting the size wide. I would not get these without the size wide and I would go up half a size.

Nice shoe runs large
A nice well constructed shoe. I am a solid size 8 in sneakers but in sketchers slip ons I often wear a 7 and this is no different. Reviews seemed to indicate the fit as small and narrow, 8 wide felt like a 9 and fell off my foot. 7wide was better and probably could have not even needed a wide. Shoe is very comfortable

Immediate comfort!
I found them comfortable the minute I put them on! No break-in needed. I wore them on an outing and they were comfortable. I walk with a cane and was so happy I had them on when it rained. They did not slip and were so light weight. They felt like I had been wearing them for days. Good style too! Love the grey and I plan for n getting the darker ones too. I think they will be great in the snow too.
